Mike Lowrey: is a wealthy ladies  man and a detective with Miami PD and is one of the main protagonist.  Is African and American and he is very sure of himself.

Marcus Burnett: He is the companion and close friend of Mike Lowrey, he is also African and American. There are moments that she is with the family and she has to leave her to help her partner. He is very friendly.
